An invitation to find balance by leaning into fear and pain as gateways to the heart, where being itself is revealed as love.
Where everything is about balance.
What is meditation and what is not meditation?
Because everything is meditation.
So what's the point?
The point is to come to see that.
And because we're out of balance, there's an opportunity.
To be out of balance is to not see reality.
There's an opportunity to see reality.
Pointers, teachers, teachings, meditation are only useful if they bring us to the inside of reality.
Balance.
Paradox and truth
It's all about paradox.
Paradox exists only in the mind.
In this moment, nothing can be wrong.
But if we're out of balance, we reject.
There are only two statements that carry, in the purest form, truth.
The first one is: being is, non-being is not.
The second one is: the Tao that is spoken is not the true Tao, which includes the first statement.
The truth that is spoken is not the real truth.
They are at best fingers pointing to a moon.
Yet being is, non-being is not.
There is something rather than nothing.
To follow that to the edge of mind.
Being is, non-being is not.
Leaning into fear and pain
Lean into fear.
Lean into pain.
They are the doors and gateways to the heart.
It's all about the heart.
Mind has nowhere to rest, as it is built on shaky ground.
But do the waves of the ocean need to rest, or just dance eternally?
Drop your beliefs and you will find balance.
The heart longs to explode, open up, pierce through conditioning, pierce through attachment to beliefs, to how things should be, how things are.
There is something that can hold it all, because being is, non-being is not.
That which is real, that which is essential, cannot be threatened.
Truth points to this.
The heart points to this.
The heart leads to this.
Returning home
Return home to the heart.
It will welcome you.
Through the doors, the gateways of fear and pain, the heart will welcome you and embrace you.
Balance will be restored in the kingdom.
Everything, everywhere.
The kingdom of here and now.
Who am I?
Who am I?
Love the question: who am I?
Mind.
What is source?
What is love?
If I am love, what is love?
The end of that.
Lean into the question.
Who am I? Who am I?
As an arrow thrown into empty space, the question is released without expectation, not tuned, not waiting for an answer.
The fire, the passion for self-knowing burns.
Inevitably the truth will be revealed.
The ordinary is miraculous
Extraordinary.
The mind can do what it does, no longer throwing us out of balance.
It's simple.
It's possible.
It's real.
It can marvel at the ordinary because it's miraculous.
You know, what makes it boring is a belief that it's anything other than miraculous.
To be is miracle.
It's beautiful.
Extraordinary.
But if everything is made sacred, nothing is not sacred.
Then what's the meaning?
That is the restoration of balance.
Everything is met with love because the essence of being is love, and how can there not be joy in every moment?
The doors we must walk through
All leads to the door of fear, pain, resistance, frustration, aversion.
Those are the true teachers.
There's no way to bypass.
The hardest must be seen.
Pains must be felt.
Fears must be faced.
The good news is that at every step you will be welcomed, embraced by reality.
You're called from within.
Surrender to that calling.
Every moment is a doorway.
Every resistance, an opportunity.
Every detour, an adventure chosen in freedom.
