An invitation to let go of all effort, direction, and seeking, and to simply sit with nothing to do and nowhere to go.
There's nothing you need to bring your attention to.
That's the most advanced meditation: to do nothing.
No direction, no intention.
Nothing needs to be done, nothing needs to happen.
The intention of no intention
You can notice how trying to notice can have a direction.
What would it be like to have absolutely no intention, absolutely no direction?
It's very paradoxical.
The intention of no intention, the direction of no direction.
The pointing towards no pointers.
Absolutely no meaning to the mind.
A form of starvation.
Noticing the grasping
Just, if anything, keep noticing how the energy of the mind is grasping.
To have a direction, to have an objective, to have meaning.
What's beyond that?
What if there's nothing to do, nowhere to get to?
Just sitting, wasting time.
You're not going to get anything out of it.
Nothing's going to happen.
Nothing's going to be achieved.
No real change, no realization, no waking up.
Just sitting, wasting time.
Whatever is happening is happening.
Nothing of more value, nothing of less value.
What needs to be lost, abandoned, surrendered
in order to fully, fully just be?
Nothing to gain.
Nowhere to go to.
Breadcrumbs for the mind
All insight, all seeing, all realization,
just breadcrumbs for the mind to perpetuate the search.
Something other than this.
The search for meaning, the doing, the pursuing
is all just one way of being,
one flavor, one form of doing nothing.
When there's insight, when there's glimpsing, nothing is gained.
A glimpse into being.
Being already is.
Every attempt will fail
What you're looking for cannot be found.
Every attempt will fail.
That is one way to define waking up:
nowhere to go, nothing to get to.
Every attempt of survival is guaranteed to fail.
To remain free, waking up is absolute loss of the self.
You can also call it by its nickname: me, I.
If absolute loss seems dark, you can call that resistance.
Otherwise, you can call it liberation.
Just the natural state of being.
Absolutely nowhere to go.
Eternally now.
No escape is absolute freedom
No escape is absolute freedom.
Timelessness, infinity.
No boundaries, no before, no after.
To the mind that is death, no escape.
How do you get out of infinity?
How to move towards tomorrow when there's no time?
Tomorrow never comes.
Is it a blessing? Is it a curse?
The mind splits the world in two
The mind splits the world in two, creates here and there.
Quick and eternally cross that line from here to there.
This division creates time and space,
so we can move from now to then, from here to there.
But to infinity there is no such thing.
There's nothing to do.
Nothing to do is freedom from becoming.
To the mind, it's: nothing can be done, everything will fail.
Being cannot be born
Being cannot be born.
Being cannot die.
Consciousness is this.
Everything goes, where it remains: your original face.
Consciousness is.
No form, no shape, no taste, no color.
It cannot be found.
It cannot be lost.
Water cannot be made wet.
Water cannot lose its wetness.
What you're looking for cannot be found.
And when everything is lost, being remains.
Being does not comprehend loss.
Being does not comprehend gain.
For being there is no getting.
There's no going, there's no coming.
Being is infinitely.
Always now, always infinite, unchanging.
The mind doesn't understand.
Being is the end.
