Nothing Is Missing

Nada Falta

A gentle invitation to notice that everything you need is already here in this moment, alive in breath, sound, and sensation.

Nothing Is Missing

The mind's illusion

All the deep problems of suffering are caused by very simple things.
One of the main ones is the mind has an ability to create the illusion of reality.

So when we think of tomorrow, it becomes real.
When we have thoughts of the past, they become real, as real as this moment.
No longer are we relating to thoughts and imagination when we think of the future or remember the past.

This, what we call this present moment, is all that is real, always.
Within it are thoughts, imagination, memories.
Sounds, sensations, perceptions.

Noticing the mind

The mind appears, and as it appears now, notice it.
You might identify it as the problem, the cause of problems.
The only cause is believing that what the mind does is real.

Consider the mind to be pure fiction, 100% pure fiction.
Sometimes interesting, sometimes useful, sometimes practical.

Turning to sensation

Notice sensations, the breath, sounds.

In this exploration, it is natural to have discomfort.
You may experience it as a body sensation.
Tension, kinds of thoughts explaining, judging.
Something around.
Or nothing.

Aliveness

There is often a deep longing.
Liveliness is always available, clear, pristine, radiant.

In the struggle there is a liveliness.
In rest there is aliveness.
In boredom there is aliveness.

Notice the skin, sensations everywhere,
the breath moving,
everything permeated by sound.

Nothing is missing

Everything is available now.
How can we find something that's not missing?

When there is breath, it's in the breath.
When there is sound, it's in the sound.
When there are thoughts, it's in the thoughts.
When there is emptiness, it's in emptiness.

One substance: aliveness and perceiving, radiant.

What if, in this moment, this reality, nothing is missing?
Let that question cut through the illusions, the made up problems.
