A gentle invitation to notice tension as it arises and discover that none of it needs to be fixed or pushed away.
Noticing friction
If there is any sense of friction with what's happening,
any activity around things being different,
notice it as some sense of contraction.
Not just the sensations, but a certain need for the contraction to not be there.
The sense of something not being okay being present.
Letting yourself be absorbed
If none of that is appearing,
or if it seems like some distant activity,
not very strong or present,
just let yourself be absorbed with what is.
All of it, the full experience,
including thoughts, all of it.
Let yourself be absorbed.
Exploring what arises
And if you get pulled into some little activity around a friction,
contraction,
thinking,
narrative,
just explore this side of it.
That is not a problem right now.
It's not a problem.
There's a contraction, it's not a problem.
Some annoying narrative, it's not a problem.
Letting thoughts be thoughts.
Letting contractions be contractions.
Nothing to get,
nothing to glimpse or understand.
Just tasting this.
