Sometimes I have this sensation of feeling lost, like the head suddenly becomes very dizzy. I haven't done anything to cause the dizziness, but it just comes on. It's a physical, bodily sensation, centered in the head.
Is "dizzy" a metaphor, or are you actually experiencing physical dizziness?
It's a physical, bodily sensation.
Obviously, I have to say: if it becomes a real problem, if it's intense and repetitive, then seek medical attention to rule out anything medical.
But if you can gauge it as just a strange thing that's happening, then in that sense, it's common. The biology has mechanisms for orienting where we are, what we are, even the sensation of the body and the head. When the image of what I am begins to shift, the brain also starts to recalibrate. That can produce these kinds of sensations. It's common.
That's helpful. Thank you.
