A gentle invitation to notice the quiet awareness that is always present, needing nothing from you to exist.
Noticing the knowing
Just notice.
Notice the knowing, knowing the seeing.
There's something knowing what is happening.
It's formless.
It's nowhere.
It's everywhere.
It's so close, so intimate, it cannot be found, can't really be named.
But it's here. It's you.
It has no beginning, no ending.
It's what knows time.
It's what knows light.
Light, sound, and thought
When there is light, it's light knowing itself.
When there is sound, it's sound knowing itself.
When there are thoughts, it's knowing itself.
When there is nothing, it's emptiness knowing itself.
Always here
If you do nothing, it's here.
If you do something, it's here.
If you struggle, it's here.
If you don't struggle, it's here.
You can't create it, you can't end it.
It appears to be located in the body, it appears to be bound, emerging from thought.
It is wakefulness.
It is already at ease right now.
All you need to do is notice that peacefulness.
The mind says otherwise
It is here.
The mind says it's not.
The body says it's not.
That which knows the turmoil is at ease: the knowing, the wakefulness.
It can be glimpsed, overlooked, forgotten, but it's always here.
No conditions, depending on nothing.
Turning toward the source
The mind tends to turn experience into things, solid objects, things with beginning and ending.
Everything comes from something.
What is the source?
Who am I? What am I?
You're trying to find something.
Notice that which is looking.
