A gentle invitation to step back from effort and let everything — thoughts, sensations, life — simply happen on its own.
Just do nothing.
And if the mind is doing, you can still do nothing.
Just don't be the mind.
Let the mind do, and you do nothing.
Let the body do.
Breathing, just be empty.
If there's efforting, don't be the efforting, let it happen.
Just dropping, dropping, dropping.
Let the world happen.
Let life happen.
Just be empty.
Not empty, but allowing
Not empty of thoughts, not empty of body, not empty of sensation.
Just let that all happen.
Letting what happens happen, whatever it is:
sensations, emotions, thoughts, life.
Not rejecting it.
Just letting it happen.
It could be gentle happening.
It could be intense happening.
It could be simple.
It could be chaotic.
Some intimate allowing,
a little bit uninvolved but caring.
Letting everything do itself
Let the thoughts do the thinking.
Let the body do the breathing.
It doesn't need you.
There's a sense of maybe something, me, here meditating, doing, trying.
Just let that happen as well.
It's all just happening.
You can't control it.
Let the sounds sound.
Let the sensations sense.
None of it needs you.
Just be empty.
Coming and going
It's all coming and going.
Some come slowly, leave slow.
Some come quick, leave quick.
Everything that comes will go.
The thinking takes you, let it.
Watch it take you.
Taste the journey of thought.
It's all for the tasting.
Let the warm, soft being arise.
Do nothing.
Slowly, gently.
