Letting the Struggle Be

A gentle invitation to move closer to whatever feels like a struggle and meet it with curiosity rather than resistance.

Letting the Struggle Be

Rather than talking, all of them:
thoughts, emotions, feelings, perception.

Noticing attachment

An attachment to something remaining the same, or something changing.
Let that attachment just be.
Let it be.

Meeting the struggle

Anything that keeps pulling you into a struggle,
if anything,
get close to it.
Even the struggle itself.

The struggle is an appearance,
complex forms and sensations and thoughts.

Being curious about that aspect of experience.
The interior we know, not as exciting.

A deep, subtle sense of something missing,
or something needing to be different.

Don't engage that with thoughts.
Engage it as a new fruit never tasted before.

What does this taste like?
What is it that you don't want to taste?

Turning to sensation

Gently, slowly, gentle.

Maybe it's a sensation in the body,
a sense of contraction,
a sturdiness in the mind.
