Peace Without Condition

Paz Sin Condición

A gentle invitation to notice what's already here and discover that peace isn't something to achieve but something to recognize in direct experience.

Peace Without Condition

Settling in with sensation

Very gently notice sensations.
No need to push, force, or strive, just notice what's already happening.
Sensations are always here, always present.

Very gently notice.
Movement of the breath can help.

There's nothing that can be done right or wrong.
It's not about getting anything, achieving anything,
just noticing what's already here.

It's very easy to be immersed and focused on thoughts alone.
So sensations are a good reminder that there is something more,
something other than mind.

The possibility of peace

What if it's literally a possibility that reality is peaceful, always?

In the absence of peace,
it might only be a misunderstanding,
a misinterpretation, believing something that is not true.

What if the absence of peace only exists in the mind?

And peace is not the absence of discomfort.
It's not the absence of what we call pain.

Peace has a profound certainty and knowing without words
that everything is as it should be.

Even in the appearance of pain,
even in the appearance of struggle,
what if there was the possibility
of knowing, not through beliefs,
not through stories,
not through being told,
but through your own experience?

What is here right now

Your deepest truth is what it is right now.
It is as it should be.
Miraculous, beautiful,
ordinary and extraordinary.

All sensations, including ones that are uncomfortable, scary, intense, painful,
are impregnated with this love,
this peace,
this aliveness,
this mystery.

Nothing needs to change.

Savoring this moment

Notice if you can savor this moment,
taste all its qualities,
let everything through.

All the sounds, subtle,
the movement, constant changing river
of sensations and sounds,
perceptions, colors,
thoughts as well.
One stream of experience and movement.

Notice the temptation to retreat into the refuge of thoughts.

Meditation does not begin or end.
